Dobble (The National Museum of Korea Edition) is a product developed in collaboration with Asmodee Korea. This special edition of the popular board game was created to raise interest in the cultural heritage housed in the National Museum of Korea by customizing the game with museum-specific themes.
*Asmodee: A global board game company headquartered in France, known for owning over 300 proprietary game IPs. A Korean branch, Asmodee Korea, was established in January 2021.
Features
Dobble is a game of wits in which players lay out two round cards, each featuring eight images, and race to find identical images. Among the deck of fifty-five cards, any two will have only one image in common. More than forty million units of the game have been sold worldwide over the past decade. The makers of Dobble have created special editions in collaboration with various museums, the Olympics, and popular animation and game character IPs. The National Museum of Korea Edition is the second museum edition following a customized version for the Louvre in Paris. This edition presents fifty-seven unique images, including some of major cultural heritage items from the museum collection and others representing the brand identity of MU:DS.
