1. About Us
The National Museum Foundation of Korea (NMF) is a public institution established to promote the cultural contributions of Korea's national museums by offering merchandise and performances designed based on national heritage (cultural properties).
2. About MU:DS
We showcase goods and souvenirs inspired by the cultural heritage of the National Museum of Korea that are all designed for everyday use. Priceless ancient artifacts are reimagined as decorative items and accessories to infuse the charm and essence of Korean cultural heritage into daily life.
3. Payment
Only card payment is accepted on the muds.kr website. Neither bank transfer nor cash payment is accepted.
On the 'muds.kr' website, only credit cards issued outside of Korea can be used. (If you have a credit card issued in Korea, please use the 'museumshop.or.kr' website.)
Accepted card companies: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express
4. Offline Store
'MU:DS' offline stores are located within the National Museum of Korea and other national museums across the country.

5.SHIPPING
General : All the items will be shipped out from South Korea.Your shipping fees will be calculated at the checkout page, but import fees will vary by country and will not be calculated. There might be additional fees charged Fedex fees as custom clearence service fee. It is the customer who is responsible for the fees.
Processing Time : We aim to ship your order within 1-3 business days. Please understand that the time it takes after shipment may vary depending on the situation in each country
Order Consolidation : At this time, We are unable to consolidate separate orders, so please check your shopping cart to make sure that you have everything you need before chekout.
Import Taxes & Duties : International customers may be subjected to import taxes depending on the country that you are purchasing from. It is your responsibility to pay any import fees.
Damage or Lost Items during Transit : Once the package arrives to the designated location, customers must contact the local courier to solve the following problems.(in prior to contacting us) We are not responsible for any damaged, lost, delayed, or stolen packages. If your product is marked as delivered but you did not receive your packages, please contact the courier (FedEx) ASAP.
'Pensive Bodhisattva Miniature' and 'Miniature of the Great Gilt-Bronze Incense Burner of Baekje' will take an additional shipping period 3 to 4 days from Korea. (This delay is due to the issuance of the "Non-Cultural Heritage Certification Documents")
6. Order Cancellation
Cancellation Deadline : Orders can be canceled until 8 AM the day after the order is completed (GMT+9, Korea Standard Time / Orders from Monday to Thursday: by 8 AM the next morning / Friday to Sunday: by 8 AM on Monday morning.).
A cancellation will be confirmed only when a response confirming the cancellation is received via email before the cancellation deadline.
Cancellation Method : Cancellations can only be requested via email at 'museumshop@nmf.or.kr' A confirmation of cancellation from the museum shop's email response is required. If the cancellation is not completed within the deadline, a cancellation fee will be incurred.
Cancellation Fee : If an order is canceled after the cancellation deadline, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total payment amount will be charged to the customer. The amount refunded will be the total payment minus the cancellation fee.
Cancellation (Refund) Completion Period: It takes about 5 to 7 business days to process the cancellation of card payments after the order cancellation is completed.
7. Exchanges
Please consult us at 'museumshop@nmf.or.kr' prior to applying for an exchange.
Exchanges resulted from product defects can be requested within 30 days from the date of receipt, and we bear the shipping cost.
For exchanges resulted from a simple change of mind, the buyer will bear the round-trip shipping costs (please be aware that the cost may be substantial due to the nature of the international shipping.)
Exchange is not possible if the product is out of stock or discontinued; only the amount excluding shipping cost will be refunded.
In case of product defects, exchanges can be made either by the same item or for a different product, where for a different product please request a refund for the item you have purchased and then place on a new purchase order for the desired product).
