Concept

This product was created to commemorate the special exhibition Wise and Unbiased: Royal Philosophy in Paintings and Calligraphy of the Joseon Dynasty held at the National Museum of Korea.

Features

The business card case features a simplified Blue Dragon design from the uigwe (royal protocols). It was crafted using traditional mother-of-pearl inlaid lacquerware techniques. The elegant design showcases a radiant mother-of-pearl dragon decoration on a bright and clean sky-blue background, exuding luxury. The process involving carving mother-of-pearl into intricate patterns, setting it into a wooden base, and finishing it with lacquer spotlights the value of handcrafted artistry.

The bottom features a sturdy silver frame, and the slim design makes it perfect for carrying credit cards or business cards.
