Concept
These handmade bookmarks are inspired by mother-of-pearl lacquerware from the Joseon Dynasty. They are delicately adorned with traditional motifs such as ten symbols of longevity and scenic landscapes inlaid using natural mother-of-pearl.
Moon Jar
The moon jar is one of the most iconic forms in Joseon white porcelain. Its pure white surface and rich, rounded shape resemble a full moon. Widely regarded as a quintessential expression of Korean aesthetics, the moon jar remains a masterpiece of Korean art.
Slender Vase
A classic form within the Korean ceramics tradition, maebyeong vessels were used from the Goryeo period to the early Joseon era to hold liquids such as alcohol or water.
