Concept
This wine rack is inspired by Najeonchilgi, a traditional Korean craft that combines lacquerwork with mother-of-pearl inlay. The design reinterprets the floral patterns of the Najeon Lacquered Chest with Peony Motifs in a modern and refined manner.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted by sanding solid wood to a smooth finish, applying multiple layers of base and middle lacquer, delicately placing finely cut mother-of-pearl, and repeatedly finishing with top lacquer to achieve depth and durability.
As a special wine rack that embodies the beauty of Korea, it makes a meaningful gift to express appreciation and gratitude.
