Concept

Ballpoint Pen (Ikseongwan) is a smooth-writing water-based pen featuring a spinning cap that rotates when you twist it with your fingers.

Features

The Ikseongwan is a type of headgear worn by kings and crown princes in daily life along with the royal robe (gonryongpo). Its center is adorned with two thickly twisted silk cords, and its shape resembles a cicada from which it derives the name “Seon.” This product is handcrafted, inspired by an Ikseongwan artifact from the National Folk Museum of Korea.
