Concept

This handcrafted Hanji Lamp Series captures the graceful forms, intricate patterns, and elegant colors of Korea’s treasured celadon and white porcelain jars—artifacts typically seen only in museum exhibitions or catalogues.

Created using only traditional hanji (Korean handmade paper), crafted by National Intangible Cultural Heritage Hanji Artisan, Mr. Chi-Yong Ahn, each piece is made entirely by hand using age-old techniques. These lamps beautifully fuse Korea’s 2,000-year paper-making heritage with the timeless aesthetics of Korean ceramics.

The White Porcelain Moon Jar of the Joseon Dynasty meets traditional hanji to become a lamp that holds warm, gentle light.

A truly Korean and meaningful gift, perfect for sharing the beauty of Korean heritage with loved ones, at home or around the world.
